This course is designed to help frustrated and returning artists to become the artists they’re meant to be, by teaching them to create a daily art making habit. Are you are ready to discover your voice and style?
"I work all day at a creative job. At the end of the day the last thing I have energy for is creating personal art."
"I wish I knew how to figure out my voice and style as an artist."
"It feels like everyone else has this map, and I'm wandering around lost."
"I'll never be able to create art as good as _____________ "
"I know there's more art in me. I'm just not sure how to get it out."
"I'm tired of my art being spent on everyone else. Someone else's product, business, dreams... When is it my turn?"
Become the artist you're meant to be!
These are all things I have said in the past at some point in my journey as a creative. I floundered around for years (even after attending two of the top NYC art schools) trying to find my way.
I was bogged down in lack of confidence, lack of direction and motivation.
I spent the first half of my life showing up asking people to tell me what to do, instead of taking initiative.
Maybe you can relate. Every once in while you get this restless feeling that you were meant for more, and that you have more in you that needs to come out.
I know your story, because it's been my story. That's why I created my course "Your Artist Journey: Finding Your Voice & Style Through Daily Practice".
I want to personally invite you to journey with me as I unpack lessons I've learned over the past several years of daily art making and how it has transformed not only my art, but my life.
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” — Vincent Van Gogh
Like all things, your journey begins with a small step.
In this course I will equip you for your own 365 day journey by breaking it down to bite sized steps. By the end of this course, if you’ve applied the methods and principles I share, you will have successfully established a daily art making habit that will lead to you finding your style and voice.
I take you into my own studio to show you my sketchbook, tools, and resources.
I will show you how to establish, maintain, and share your daily art practice so that you can improve your skills and confidence as an artist.
I had to learn on my own how to overcome all the obstacles (including a busy family life and a full time job) that inevitably come up.
You can benefit now from my years of experience and learn my step by step plan to get you going today!

Mike Brennan shares experiences through art & design.
Some of his work includes custom "Rockstar" pet portraits, pop culture art, yoga art, live event sketching, original paintings, graphic design, and he authored / illustrated the books "Dear Snow: One Man's Angry Rant Against Winter", "Dear Human: What Your Dog Is Really Thinking" and "The Art of Yoga." While the media and subject matter may vary, he creates art that shares experiences centered around those themes to form connections with his audience.
Mike’s artistic journey began as a boy in New York, where he would construct heartwarming greeting cards for family and friends. He loved seeing people's faces light up when they received his art. Even an early age, he understood the importance of serving others through his art and bringing them value.
After a ten year absence, Mike returned to his art in what can be considered a creative comeback. He embarked upon a new creative journey of a 365 consecutive daily painting / drawing habit that continues to this day, years later. It was through this process that Mike discovered his voice and style.
He not only seeks to use his art to bring joy and build bridges, but he also looks to be a voice encouraging those struggling in their own creativity.
“I met Mike at at my Hot yoga studio. His work was on display, and I was instantly drawn to it. Even more so after hearing his story.
Yoga has provided me with a path to connect to my most inner self. I couldn’t be more happy with how Mike captured that in his portrait. I love, love, love it!!!”
“Having the unique, creative art of Mike Brennan gave me a powerful art-form to help spread the message of Global Citizen. He creates vibrant, engaging art, and has an incredible ability to capture his subject matter with heart and enthusiasm.”
What type of art is the course designed for?
I created the course to speak into the visual arts journey, namely drawing / painting. Most of the examples and idea prompts are with that in mind. However, if you took it upon yourself to contextualize for your specific creative art form, the idea of creating a daily habit remains the same.
Are there additional costs? What supplies do I need?
There are no additional costs to participate in the course. However, if you want to get any special art supplies that will be a cost to you. Start simple with pens, pencils, and a sketchbook. You can add any art supplies you have along the way.
Can I ask Mike questions during the course?
As a self-paced, pre-recorded course Mike will not be available live. However, you can ask Mike questions in the course discussion area. You will also be able to join our exclusive and private Facebook group for students and the instructor.
How much time do I need for the lessons?
Generally, all you need to start is 5 to 10 minutes a day set aside to your art making. Overall, the course provides approximately 2-3 hours of content for you to learn from at your own pace.
What will this course do for me?
Mike has created a friendly, informative, and actionable course. If you apply what you learn in this course you will reduce the learning curve versus if you had done this on your own. Simply put, you can get started quicker on your daily creative practice.
When do I get access to the course and for how long?
You get immediate access to the course welcome and introduction. For content security purposes, you will have access to all content after 24 hours of your purchase.
Can I view the course on my mobile device?
Yes! You can view the course via desktop or mobile devices.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Results will vary from person to person because this is a journey unique to each person. However, if you show up consistently and do the work, you will see some results. This is a marathon though, not a sprint. Be invested long term.
What is your return policy on the course?
Due to the digital nature and immediate access of the materials there are no refunds. Consider your purchase carefully. If you have an issue we are happy to help.
